Member Term Life coverage, issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), can be an affordable way to help protect your family’s financial security if something happens to you. It can provide funds that your loved ones can use to help them maintain the lifestyle that you have provided for them by helping to pay the mortgage, credit card bills, funeral expenses, or whatever else they may need it for.
Apply for up to $1,000,000 of Group Term Life insurance.
Eligibility
- (10-year level plan) Members at least age 18 and under age 66, in good standing with The Florida Bar, working full time.
- (20-year level plan) Members at least age 18 and under age 56, in good standing with The Florida Bar, working full time.
- A member’s spouse / domestic partner.
- A member’s dependent children at least age 14 days and under age 21.
Coverage Amounts
- Members: $200,000 – $1,000,000 in any multiple of $25,000.
- Spouse / domestic partner: Up to 50% of the selected member coverage amount.
- Dependent children at least age 14 days and under age 6 months: $500 or $1,000.
- Dependent children at least age 6 months and under age 21: $5,000 or $10,000.
Accelerated Life Benefit
Receive up to 90% of your coverage amount (maximum of $100,000) to help with medical costs, the mortgage, or spending quality time with family — if you become terminally ill and have a life expectancy of 24 months or less.
Other Details
- Premiums remain level for the term you select (either 10 years or 20 years).
- The premiums you pay are based on your age at the time of application.
- There are no application fees or annual policy fees.
- An optional Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit of up to $600,000 is available at an additional cost.*
